Islington Mill is holding its own top wedding event that's happening somewhere in Kate and Wills' worst nightmare. Beginning at 3pm, there'll be a pot lunch tea party complete with sideshows like a coconut shy and crockery smashing stall, all with a wedding theme, while computer wizards will be doing live warped editing of the official tv coverage.

There'll also be an attempt to break the world record with the longest wedding train made out of knitted plastic bags, plus wedding karaoke, a Republicans v Royalists tug of war and loads more going off all day.

At night there's going to be wedding bands playing, a `vogue brawl' and sounds from the Mothers Ruin crew including Timberlina, Organ Freeman, Joyce D Vision, Good Afternoon and Off The Hook DJs.

OFF WITH THEIR HEADS
Friday 29th April 3pm-3am
Islington Mill, James St, Salford
