Even the Mayor of Salford visited the Salford Star stall as the friendliest festival in the city provided another fab success for Salford's summer season of community events.
Virtually everything was free for the kids, from a climbing wall to a bouncy castle, to crafts and face painting, while ace artist Miroslav Andjelkovic draw free portraits all afternoon. Meanwhile, on the Hometown Productions stage were a succession of acts featuring every type of music, from rock and indie to rap and folk, to the full blown Music Without Borders Choir.
A top day. Hats off to the Seedley and Langworthy Events Group - and a big ta to everyone who bought a Salford Star t-shirt, made a donation or helped out on our stall.
