Salford has two new confirmed cases of coronavirus, bringing the city's total to 962, up from 960 the previous day. Over the last week, there has been an average of 2.5 new cases of the virus per day in the city.
Elsewhere in Greater Manchester, the number of confirmed virus cases in Manchester now total 1,659, followed by Wigan with 1,226, Stockport 1,064, Oldham 1,126, Bolton 1,040, Trafford 857, Rochdale 850, Bury 795, and Tameside 811.
There have been no new deaths announced by Salford Royal Hospital.
