After a rise of over one hundred new confirmed coronavirus cases over the weekend, latest figures show a rise of 13 new cases in Salford, up to 727 from 714.
Other areas in Greater Manchester also seem to be levelling off, with Manchester now on 1,168 cases (up from 1,154), Stockport 888 (up from 873), Bolton 819 (up from 807), Oldham 776 (up from 758), Wigan 775 (up from 768), Trafford 627 (up from 622), Tameside 480 (up from 474), Bury 553 (up from 549) and Rochdale 535 (up from 527).
Salford Royal Hospital has also reported a further three sad deaths bringing its total to 151.

Hospital Top Trumps features thirty hospitals from across the UK, including Manchester Royal Infirmary which gets a 'Rainbow rating' of 10 but only a score of 1 on a 'Fame rating'.

The British Psychological Society has also brought out a special virtual booklet with guidance for key workers and their children on navigating the emotional effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. It gives some straightforward tips on how to help their children to cope, which includes: Asking the child questions and talking to them, giving the child choices over their time, making their routine as consistent as possible, particularly at bedtime, and helping them to understand and share their feelings.
It also provides guidance on finding a balance between work and home life at a time when there are many different things for key worker parents to manage at once.
In addition to the guidance for parents, there is also an advice sheet aimed at their children to answer the questions they may have. It explains what a key worker is and why they have to spend so much time at work right now, discusses coronavirus safety on a basic level and encourages young people to talk to their parents when they're feeling worried.
