A month ago*, 19 year old Courtney Davies, who has cerebral palsy, told the Salford Star that she wanted to raise money for a cancer charity in memory of her gran, and was going to have her hair cut off...
"I can't run a marathon and I can't do a skydive, so I thought I'd have some of my hair cut off for young cancer patients" she explained.
Three weeks ago, the charity haircut happened in Walkden, Courtney raised over £800, including Gift Aid, and there's now a touching video documenting the day produced by media students at Salford University.

After staff at the Trafford Centre heard about Courtney's good deed, they also presented her with gift cards (see photo)
