SALFORD AGAINST THE CUTS GIG

Star date: 23rd May 2011

SALFORD AGAINST THE CUTS LIVE GIG
Friday 27th May 7:30pm
Islington Mill £5

A fundraising, awareness raising, government exit hasting gig is taking place this Friday at Islington Mill, put on by Salford Against The Cuts.

It features five live bands and DJs and is only a fiver in.

Full details here…

Campaigners from Salford Against The Cuts have been there every time Salford City Council or the ConDem Government has tried to axe public services in the city. They've held demos, done petitions and called rallies against the cuts. Now it's time to have fun and support a great cause.

At Islington Mill on Friday there'll be an array of music styles, from the psychedelic folk of Death To The Strange to the prog rock of Trojan Horse, to the urban rap of Class Actions and the guitar led vocalscapes of Irma VEP. There's also music from Horses and the Salford City Radio DJs.

Should be good and hopefully will raise money towards fighting the cuts in Salford.
