The logo for this rally says it all. It's a picture of a pill bottle which has the label `PRIVATISATION: To be taken in increasing doses'. Underneath is a skull and crossbones with the warning: `DO NOT SWALLOW… More waste, more waiting, less fair, less care'.
Unite the union, which represents many frontline health workers, has called a rally where speakers Tony Lloyd MP for Central Manchester, NHS frontline rep Frances Kelly, Dr Aneez Esmail from the Medical Practitioners Union and Bill Moores Chair of Unite, will be giving loads of reasons for people to oppose ConDem privatisation (`reform') plans for the NHS.
The afternoon rally is also a chance for people to pick up campaign material. In the meantime, there's always this fab anti-privatisation rap to listen to by Nxt Gen – click here
