- WELL IF MULTI MILLIONAIRES CLEGG, OSBORNE AND THAT ARCH DECEIVER CA- MORON DO NOT DO SOMETHING AS A RESULT OF TODAYS MASSIVE DEMONSTRATIONS, THEN THE ONLY ALTERNATIVE IS A GENERAL STRIKE TO BRING THIS LOT DOWN , AND THEN THEY WILL LEARN TRULY WHAT IT IS TO BE " ALL IN IT TOGETHER".....

Jim I find your remarks disturbing. Although we don't agree Steve and myself do exchange more light hearted remarks from time to time. I chose under my own steam to make my commitment to the fight against the cuts by marching in London. Next time perhaps you should introduce yourself and we could clear up a few things

I personally find Mr Merry's smug little comments continually disturbing. While he is sniggering people are suffering and the Star shouldnt fall into his trap. My view is Merry is absolutely untouchable and that has to put great shame on the majority of Salford people. Its like that wee slimey labour treasury minister (byrne) leaving a poxy note saying "ha ha,. theres no money left". It shouldnt be Gadaffi we are bombing but Cameron, Clegg, Blears, Byrne, BBC, Blair, Balls, ach theres too many of them to name. Any I have left out please add in future posts.

This jolly trip to London town is our chance to show the corrupt government just how much they are hated and despised. The implementation of thatcherite policies ,persecution of the weak, elderly and poor must end .The criminal activity of the banks , inept legislation and corrupt governments caused the economic crisis - they can pay for it .The workers and students smashed the Poll tax , and we will smash this torycon corrupt government of lying , self-serving scum the same way .But many would like to see all local governance smashed also , and an end to the illegal council tax .The Workers and Students united in defiance and resistance WILL do this .

'FOR ME, IT'S ALL BEING COVERED UP...'

Last Friday, a homeless man from Salford sadly died after living on the streets in Manchester city centre; the latest, many believe, in a spate of such incidents.
