A wide array of art awaits anyone venturing upstairs at The Angel Centre where three decaying prints of a `Mickey Mouse' man meet face perfect portraits and disturbing portrayals of angst turned inside out. Add that together with post-it pad canvases, prints taken from Salford's trees and abstract scenescapes. The result is a mixed bag of an exhibition where there should be something to arrest anyone's attention.
This display by University of Salford Arts Students is mounted along the corridor and in the main room of the upstairs Angel, known as Gallery 2. It's curated by the University's Helena Ho, who says "We're delighted to have teamed up with The Angel Centre where the art will be seen by a much wider audience."
The exhibition is joined by works from the Pierpoint Consortium Ltd in a room leading off the corridor, known as Gallery 1.
