Thursday evening sees a top night going off for Salford families. It starts with a lantern parade which sets off from outside The Lowry at 6:30pm, and continues along the river to the Watersports Centre.
From 7-7:30pm there's a `bonkers' theatre show by Pif Paf Arts at the Centre, then the audience walks over to Ordsall Park where there's fireworks by Walk The Plank at 7:45pm.
There's only one cryptic clue from the organisers as to the content of the evening…
`Last year the Monkey stole the show, but what will the Swans think about that, will the Elephant appear again, and how will the Chicken decide what to do?...'
Chickens? Elephants? Monkeys? Swans? Ordsall Community Arts, which put on a fantastic, surreal festival in Ordsall Park a few months ago, are at it again. Don't miss!
