Salford now only has, as far as we know, two theatres left in existence. One is the posh one at The Lowry which no-one can get to, and the other is the beautifully affordable Salford Arts Theatre, off Liverpool Street in Pendleton.
However, in the distant past, Salford was brimming with theatres and music halls and this talk by Les Willis at the WCML will aim to take the audience on trip to the land of greasepaint and footlights.
