A crowd decked in England regalia turned Salford City FC's home ground, Moor Lane, into the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium today for the video of Salford's World Cup anthem, England's Heartbeat.
Shuttleworth's Girl Peculiar and Ed Blaney were there leading the cheering for goals and penalty despondency that the extras had to mimmick. And local kids impersonated the band, including a mini Mark E Smith complete with megaphone.
The video, we understand, will be first shown exclusively on The Times website next Friday.
