Salford has recorded no new confirmed cases of coronavirus, although this could be down to weekend reporting delays, as the total remains at 972 cases.
Elsewhere in Greater Manchester, virus cases in Manchester now total 1,708 (up from 1,703), followed by Wigan with 1,230 (down from 1,231), Oldham 1,145 (up from 1,143), Stockport 1,079 (up from 1,074), Bolton 1,050 (up from 1,048), Trafford 878 (up from 872), Rochdale 878 (up from 873), Tameside 856 (up from 846), and Bury 809 (same).

Meanwhile, Princes Park Garden Centre in Irlam has started to produce face masks for its staff and service users, while also selling them to the public for a 'solidarity' price of £3, with all surplus monies going to support the Centre's Meals On Wheels scheme.
This service provides good quality fresh healthy food every day delivered to the homes of the centre's 26 service users plus many elderly, isolated and vulnerable people within the community.
"We have been overwhelmed with the demand for meals and support both to our own service users with learning disabilities and to isolated and disadvantaged adults and families in Salford" states the Centre's spokesperson, Alec McFadden "Our running total of meals delivered since we began is over 2,600 meals.
"We have received referrals from Spirit of Salford to support approx fifty individuals and families over this time" he adds "Our Meals on Wheels service is much more than just a doorstep drop and our volunteers have been engaging with recipients, talking to them, at a social distance of course, and listening to the daily challenges they face, as well as giving them ideas for activities and things to do that can safely occupy their time during lockdown. This has greatly improved their mental health and emotional wellbeing.
"Even as Government restrictions have eased, most of our service users and the other families referred to us have complicated health issues, and also now feel safer not going out at all" he explains "This has led to another issue, that of needing to take in physical exercise, to keep up positive physical and mental health, and we are hoping to start up our socially distanced walking football group in early July."
The masks are available from the shop within the Princes Park Garden Centre (which is now open) and will also be on sale at the Centre's Garden Party on 28th June 11am to 3pm.
