The confirmed cases of coronavirus in Salford increased to 129, up by just two cases on the previous day's 127 – the smallest increase for weeks, although there could be many reasons for this. And it is still the second highest rate in Greater Manchester, with Manchester now having 155 confirmed cases.
Oldham now has 114 cases, followed by Stockport with 107, Trafford 104, Rochdale 94, Tameside 77, Bury 75, Wigan 67 and Bolton 51.
Meanwhile, an organisation called 0161 Community, which has been putting positive banners up all over Greater Manchester, including outside Salford Royal Hospital, is urging people to make short videos thanking NHS staff, health workers, delivery workers, refuse services, supermarket staff, firefighters, transport workers and education staff.
The idea is to constantly stream the videos this Sunday, from noon, on the 0161 Community website in a #MessageForFrontLine.
"People are putting their lives on the line to keep us fed, healthy and not short of anything" says Joe, a founding member of 0161 Community "Getting your post delivered, clearing your bins, healing your friends and family, these workers are nothing short of heroes. The least we can do is show them that we the people and the community support them.
"After the banners, we want to step it up so everyone can get involved" he adds "Now is the time to thank the amazing people keeping Manchester [and Salford] going, to let them know how much we appreciate all they're doing."

1. On your own, with family or housemates, film a message of support or thanks on your phone or computer.
2. Film it landscape if possible.
3. Try and keep it under 30 seconds.
