Salford now has 58 confirmed cases of coronavirus, up from 52 previously. Manchester has the most confirmed cases in Greater Manchester with 63, followed by Stockport with 59, Trafford with 53, Oldham 51, Tameside 43, Rochdale 40, Bury 30, Bolton 27 and Wigan 21.

With the cases of the virus growing, it is now more crucial than ever that people stay home and social distance themselves. So, this weekend, the Salford Star is linking up with sites all over the internet that are providing free and interesting stuff to keep us amused, educated and informed.

We begin with a charming little lockdown diary by Salford Star contributor, People's Assembly livestreamer and recent MA graduate of Salford University, Rafe Conn, who is doing a daily very short YouTube broadcast called Not Killing Mum...about not killing his 82 year old mother via a job or volunteering...
