Official statistics now note that Salford has ten confirmed cases of coronavirus, up from nine yesterday.
In Greater Manchester, Manchester has 26 cases, Stockport 21, Tameside 19, Trafford 15, Oldham 14, Bolton 13, Rochdale 12, Bury 10 and Wigan 6.
Meanwhile, Salford Royal Hospital has announced that two people have unfortunately died from the virus, although it is not known whether they were Salford residents...

"We can confirm that sadly two patients have passed away at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust" read the statement "Both patients had tested positive for COVID-19. Both patients were female, in their 80s and had underlying health conditions. Our thoughts and condolences remain with the patients' families and loved ones at this difficult time."
No other details were given.
