From India to Salford...
Irlam firm, Kingsland Drinks, has linked up with Indian wine producer, Soul Tree, to deliver the very first shipment of bulk wine from India to the UK. The new wines, Soul Tree Red and Soul Tree White, will be bottled, packed and distributed from Kingsland's service site in Irlam.
The wines are designed to drink alongside Indian food, have been developed to meet the house wine price point on Indian restaurant wine lists, and have a distinct mandala branding designed by Kingsland's in-house design team in conjunction with Soul Tree. They join the comapny's existing Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé and Cabernet Sauvignon.
"The Soul Tree range represents the very first Indian wine in our portfolio and a fresh area of the wine category; India is now officially on the map as a bulk wine producer, and we're excited to lead the way by bringing Soul Tree wines in bulk directly to the UK on-trade" says Adam Marshall, Buying Controller at Kingsland Drinks.
