To mark the festive period and coinciding with its 40th anniversary, the Alzheimer Society is presenting Carols at Christmas on Wednesday 4th December, 7:30pm at Salford Cathedral, in an event hosted by the Society's ambassador Joy Watson and Operations Director Tim McLachlan...
"The event will include music from Alzheimer's Society Singing for the Brain groups from Greater Manchester, where all members are affected by dementia" states the Society "There will also be a chance for a singalong of the classic carols. All held in the beautiful setting of Salford Cathedral.
"The event is the perfect way to celebrate with friends and family in the run up to Christmas" it adds "A ticket would also make a perfect present for a loved one as part of the festive season."
All proceeds from the event will go towards the Alzheimer's Society's work to challenge perceptions, fund research and improve and provide care and support.
