TJ is 14, has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which kills muscles, and has been wheelchair bound for four years. Now the condition has spread to the left side of his heart and he needs open spine surgery just to sit up in his chair.
"We have recently been informed that his heart is weakening more rapidly than we thought and that he has to have spinal rods put down both sides of his spine due to his spine curving" says his aunt Jannah Murphy.
"As TJ's future is very uncertain in terms of how long we will have him with us, we are desperately raising money to enable him to complete his bucket list" she explains, adding that "it makes my heart break that he even has one...
"TJ is truly amazing and brings joy and laughter to us that are lucky enough to have him in our lives" she adds "He is selfless and brave, and you never ever hear him complain..."
TJ's bucket list includes a cruise with his friends from Francis House Children's Hospice, to be a mascot at Manchester United, and to get to see Shawn Mendez and Ed Sheeran in concert. And the families' Just Giving page is asking for £1,000 crowdfunding, of which over £800 has already been raised.
