Tomorrow, Jeremy Corbyn is in Salford addressing an audience of Labour Party supporters, and in the evening he is expected to be speaking at the Stop Boris Johnson rally in Manchester from 6:30pm near the Peterloo Monument outside Manchester Central (GMex).*
"Boris Johnson wants to suspend Parliament, so whether you are Leave or Remain, join the protest" state the organisers "We need to show the huge opposition to his arrogant treatment of Parliamentary democracy. Parliament barely represents us as it is! We must take to the streets against his policies, his racism, his austerity, his love of Trump and now his steam rolling on Brexit. Tories Out. We demand a General Election..."
The event is being co-hosted by Manchester People's Assembly and Manchester Labour Group, supported by Manchester Trades Union Council, GM CND and Manchester Stand Up to Racism.
