A game of end to end that meant so much to both clubs eventually turned out the way of Salford. After 14 minutes Salford took the lead through Diesruvwe, who banged one in from short range, sending the travelling army into heaven.
Piergianni got the second from a header just after half time, and, shortly after, Touray finished Fylde off, securing the 3-0 win for Salford with his shot-cum-cross. That now puts Salford City in the Football League. They've dug a tunnel from the Great Escape and now go forward.
There were thousands of Salford City fans, outnumbering Fylde fans by at least four to one. It was a great atmosphere all day. To start, we went into the Green Man pub and took it over. Indeed, Salford today has taken over London; absolutely fantastic.
It's a pity Salford Reds were playing today or there would have been even more fans in London I reckon. They got beat, knocked out of the Cup. So one Salford team wins the cup, another team goes out – but that's Salford for you, full of ups and downs...
We're going to be celebrating long into the night...
