Salford Shopping Centre, home to eighty stores and over 135,000 shoppers each week, is looking for a charity partner. The Precinct is now accepting nominations from the public or charities themselves, which will be narrowed down to a shortlist of three and a subsequent public vote.
"We are really excited to launch our appeal for a new local charity partner" says Centre Manager, Nick Pitt "We are committed to supporting the Salford community and would encourage any local charities to come forward for the chance to benefit from this great opportunity."
To be considered, Salford based charities need to complete a simple form on the Salford Shopping Centre website.*
A short list of three charities will be announced on 20th May, when Salford people can then cast votes for their favourite charity via the Centre's Facebook page, with the winner announced week commencing 27th May.
