Today, Saturday 4th May, sees the annual Salford May Day Rally and Parade, which begins at Bexley Square at 1pm. To link in with this, there is a march against homelessness going from the occupied doctor's surgery at 169 Church Street Eccles at 11:30am.
From Bexley Square, there's a parade to Sacred Trinity Church where there will be music, food and stalls, plus speakers including Salford and Eccles MP Rebecca Long-Bailey, Salford City Mayor, Paul Dennett, and Steve Turner, Assistant General Secretary of Unite the Union.
