Three yank DJs, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry and Chez Damier will be on the decks when FAC 51 The Hacienda returns to The Albert Hall in Manchester for a special full-on club night on Friday 17th May, together with original Hac resident DJs, Graeme Park, Greg Wilson and Tom Wainwright.
Back at The Hac for the first time since New Year's Eve 1993/1994, Roger Sanchez is renowned as one of the finest DJ/producers to come out of the States. His first global hit came with Underground Solution's Luv Dancin on the seminal Strictly Rhythm label in 1990 and he hit the UK Number One spot with the classic Another Chance.
Equally huge in the booth is Todd Terry, one of the top house DJs ever, with Orange Lemon's Dream Of Santa Anna, Black Riot's A Day In The Life and Just Make That Move to his production name.
Chez Damier is also a seminal figure in US house history who, with Ron Trent, shaped the early Chicago scene before moving to Detroit, DJ'ing at The Music Institute. He then managed the KMS label with Kevin Saunderson which saw the release of Can You Feel It.
The American trio are joined by Graeme Park, Greg Wilson and Tom Wainwright, all resident at The Hac back in the day. Should be a kicking night...
