This Friday, 15th March, between 1:45pm and 2:45pm, the Height Library is hosting a special oral storytelling session for pre-school children and their parents and carers...
"The session will include songs and active oral storytelling, and the children who have attended sessions previously have loved joining in" says Jessica Howley,
Deputy Headteacher at St. John's CE Primary School in Swinton, which is running the session, supported by the Shine Trust.
"It is a free and friendly session open to all pre-school children, and parents and carers in the community" the Let Teachers Shine 2018 winner adds "Parents and carers will then have the opportunity to explore our story sack library with their children and can loan their favourite one so the storytelling fun can continue at home."
The Story Hour session is for children who do not already attend a school setting, and looks to be great fun for kiddies and adults alike...
