Every day, it seems, more young people are getting their mobile phones nicked while simply walking down a Salford street, while pupils are reporting the growing prevalence of knives becoming a serious issue in and around schools.
Meanwhile, there's burglaries, muggings, attacks and more that also appear to be a feature of neighbourhoods around Broughton and beyond.
Now The Broughton Trust is running a get together and consultation for the community to discuss and consult upon all the issues, with the hope of getting funding to do something about it.
The informal meet is this Tuesday, 6th November, at The Broughton Trust HQ on Heath Avenue in Lower Broughton, beginning with coffee and biscuits at 6pm, with the talking starting at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome to go along and air their concerns.
