DONALD TRUMP PROTEST OPEN TOP BUS TO TOUR SALFORD ON FRIDAY

Star date: 11th July 2018 SALFORD TO SEE FIRST DONALD TRUMP PROTEST AS OPEN TOP DOUBLE DECKER TOURS THE CITY As a prelude to the anti-Donald Trump protest in Manchester this Friday, 13th July, an open top double decker bus will be touring sites in Salford to spread the message that the divisive American President is not welcome in the UK. The protest bus has been organised by Swinton law firm Mary Monson Solicitors, and will begin its journey from the Salford Unemployed and Community Resource Centre in Eccles, before visiting Salford Precinct, Salford Royal Hospital, Rebecca Long-Bailey's office in Langworthy and the Civic Centre. With a huge demonstration in London expected on Friday, 13th July, and a demo in Manchester set for Friday evening, Salford is getting a mobile demo, when an open top double decker bus tours the city in the morning in protest at Donald Trump's visit to the UK. The protest bus begins its journey at 9:30am from the Salford Unemployed and Community Resource Centre on Liverpool Road in Eccles, where lawyers and supporters will be joining homeless people who attend the Breakfast Club at the Centre. It will then stop off at Eccles Mosque, Salford Royal Hospital, the office of Rebecca Long-Bailey MP on Langworthy Road, Salford Precinct and the Civic Centre in Swinton, before heading into Manchester and, eventually, the Albert Square demonstration at 5pm.* The double decker Trump-buster bus has been organised by Swinton-based law firm, Mary Monson Solicitors... "The bus is a symbol of Britain as a place of diversity and inclusion and its use demonstrates the common journey we all make through life and the cooperative spirit which makes humanity great" explains Mary Monson, Founder and Director of the firm. "We have chosen this form of protest to demonstrate that we, the people of Salford and Manchester, are united in our rejection of Trump's values and politics of division and hate" she adds "We are all potential refugees and the divisiveness promoted by Trump is not welcome." However, all Salford's residents are welcome to get on the bus or to have a chat at the various stops around the city...
TRUMP PROTEST BUS SALFORD SCHEDULE
These are only approximate times... 9:30am the bus begins its journey from the Salford Unemployed and Community Resource Centre on Liverpool Road in Eccles, where participants will join the Salford Breakfast Club before setting off at 10am. 10am Eccles Mosque 10:15am Salford Royal Hospital to meet staff and union reps 10:45am Langworthy Road, including a stop at the office of Salford and Eccles MP Rebecca Long-Bailey. 11am Salford Precinct the bus will be travelling via Liverpool Street, Cross Lane and Churchill Way to the Precinct where there will be speeches and music. 12noon Salford Civic Centre travelling via Irlam of th'Heights to the Civic Centre in Swinton where it will be met by councillors and Salford City UNISON officers. 12:40 bus leaves to go back to Eccles via Monton, Eccles Old Road and Liverpool Road, before heading off to Manchester, where it will visit the Windrush Millennium Centre, Manchester Royal Infirmary and the Proud Trust before driving into Manchester City Centre to take part in the Albert Square demonstration which begins at 5pm...

| DJ is correct in the fact that he not said anything racist. He is accusing traffic wardens of being race biased, by picking on one group and not another. If what he has said is racist, then the people who accuse the metropolitan police of using stop and search tactics that discriminate against certain groups are also racist, which is a nonsense.There are also other areas in salford where different rules for parking enforcement seem to apply. There are parts of Ordsal where the wardens are less diligent, also parts in north salford where they are a bit thin on the ground. But try parking for a few minutes in the empty cul de sacs near Salford Royal. on you like a bricks.( they think your hospital staff dodging the staff car park.)POWER TO THE DRIVERS. |

It is a waste of time voting in Salford, in our glorious city we all know who the peoples choice is. However ,next mayoral election, if Trump was running against Dennett, I would be outside the polling booth waiting for it to open. Trump has not looked out for his country, his ill judged tariffs and trade wars are putting American farmers and manufacturers out of business. In the meantime his America first agenda doesn't apply to his own business or that of his daughter. Trumps mar a lago club is seeking a waiver so they can employ immmigrant Labour despite many Americans wanting and needing the jobs in Palm beach. His daughter has all her stuff made in China and other third world locales and has waivers on the trade tariffs. Trump has even outsourced to China his merchandise for 2020 campaign, he's a hypocrite.
The man lies constantly. He is a misogynist and racist whose divisive rhetoric and policies have meant attacks on Jews, Muslims, Mexicans, African Americans and Asian Americans have rocketed. He is working to stop access to legal abortion despite forcing at least one mistress to abort his child.
That is why people are protesting. We don't want this vile man who is clearly unfit for the office of president to spread his disgusting policies and views here.

Trump only won because of Russian intervention, the same Russian intervention that likely skewed the brexit vote.
Democracy is under attack, trump is being used by putin (who likely has financial leverage on trump, hence why he won't release tax records, and kompromat of trump money laundering) to destabilise NATO and the EU.

Not one thing I said is racist, I pointed out something council employees do that is biased towards a racial group for fear of upsetting them, I can only imagine who much your unisex panties would twist if I mentioned the fact that from time to time at said Mosque walks into the middle of a main road (illegally) and stops traffic just so people can leave and not have to wait at the bothersome zebra crossing like everyone else.
Donald Trump is the democratically elected leader of the UK's biggest allie, he was invited to visit the UK by it's own democratically elected leader, it is all perfectly legal and above board.
I must have missed the open top buses when genuine world leaders/despots came visiting the UK, or is it there wasn't anything done but Trump bashing is the trendy thing for Left Wing do on a ropes to do.
There is good news though as it's raining, as we all know most left wing types need a good shower they can do it on the open top bus while they all sing Kum ba yah and compare sarongs. |

| Trump is not without faults but, Once upon a time we had a polite, articulate,highly intellegent , well educated prime minister who thought it a good idea to sack most of our steelworkers and all of our miners and put them on the dole and give them money for doing nothing, at the same time destroying the communities these formerly well paid workers lived in.Rightly ,the lefties and the unions opposed this. Admittedly i've lived in Worsley and Swinton most of my life so 'Salford's' traditions might have gone over my head. That said i think you make it sound like its universally accepted fact when i think its just a bit lefty myth making that local lefties like to tell each other. What is truly genuinely accepted by almost the entire world is Salford's fondness , sorry addiction, for state dependency . I think you've mistaken this for an enthusiasm for socialism. |

| I have a girlfriend who got a ticket in Salford from Salford Council. Not near Eccles Mosque on a Friday. Salford Council pursued her relentlessly for this even though she hadn't done what they said. I know that for sure, I know who the "guilty" party was.She moved to Lincoln and they had the bailifs round ,all the shit. We took Salford to court, in Lincoln,2 appearances, they even sent the boss of parking services to plead their case. They actually won, but we said we would go all the way to human rights court with what they did.They bottled it and agreed not to pursue it if we didn't appeal.RACIST BEHAVIOUR BY SALFORD TRAFFIC WARDENS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. ALL TRAFFIC OFFENDERS MUST BE TREATED IN A FAIR MANNER. |
