With official remembrance services and events set for 22nd May, the first anniversary of the Arena bomb attack, next Saturday 19th, bikers will be doing their own tribute to the 22 killed and many more injured, with a Memorial Ride.
Hundreds of bikes, trikes and scooter riders are due to take part in a slow procession from Ashton Old Road to the Arena, where they will lay flowers and have a one minute's silence.
The ride will be led by keen bikers Charlotte and Paul Hodgson, who lost their 16 year old daughter, Olivia Campbell-Hardy, in the attack, and riders will be wearing blue ribbons.
Any bike, trike or scooter rider can take part, including learners, and the meeting place is J&S Accessories, Unit 4 Tower Mill, Ashton Old Road, M11 1AA at 10am to leave at 11:30am.
