Every year, Salford Manchester Street Support has an appeal to collect Easter eggs for struggling families and the homeless, and this year dozens of eggs were received which all found an appreciative home.
Over the holidays, Angela Barratt and her helpers from Street Support, have been out and about dishing them out, both around Salford and on the streets of Manchester...
"People are so generous in Salford and do donate lots of eggs to us" says Angela "Lots of people do go without even an Easter egg and when we hand them out people are so grateful and it brings smiles across our cities.
"Street homeless people were surprised but happy that Sonnie, a young lad from Salford was handing them out" she adds "Sonnie, my son, has been doing outreach with homeless people since he was four, and loves chatting and helping were he can. I'd just like to thank everyone who donated the eggs, we are all very grateful."
