Carers of any age are invited to train to have their own show on well-loved community radio station All FM, with an introductory tatster session this Wednesday 28th February between either 2pm and 4pm, or 5pm and 7pm.
"This is a brilliant opportunity to get your voice, and your tunes, on radio" says All FM Manager Ed Connole "We work in small supportive groups and you don't need to be technical at all."
Liz, one of those who has taken up the chance, says: "When you're a carer, you sort of lose yourself and the radio training helped me to find me again. To be honest I never ever dreamt that I could do a radio show. I would never have thought in a million years that I could be sat there shouting my mouth off over the radio..."
The station is based in Levenshulme, Manchester, but any carer from Salford or Greater Manchester is welcome to attend.
