Hopefully, the Salford Star doesn't need to tell its readers about the pitfalls and pratfalls of Donald Trump, who, incredibly, is going to be inaugurated as President of the USA on Friday, 20th January. To coincide with protests all over America and at the US Embassy in London, Greater Manchester is holding its own Stop Trump! Protest between 6pm and 7pm at St Peter's Square, Manchester. It's being called by Manchester Stand Up To Racism, Greater Manchester CND, Manchester Campaign Against Climate Change, Manchester Stop the War Coalition and Bolton Green Party, and is supported by many trade unionists in Salford. A statement from the organisers doesn't hold back... "On 20th January 2017, the bigoted bully billionaire Donald Trump will become the next President of the USA" it scorns "Trump is supported by - and friend to - all the racists and the privatisers, union busters, tax dodgers, bankers, corporations, warmongers, arms manufacturers, exploiters, crooks and those who would destroy our environment" it explains "He is one of, and represents, the 1% who rob and exploit workers across the world and whose strategy of racism and division is clear for all to see." Andrew Gibson, Campaigns Officer at Greater Manchester CND, adds: "Donald Trump is unacceptable. He has advocated torture, wants to build more nuclear weapons and is openly sexist and racist. Not only should we protest his inauguration but I want to see all US military bases removed from UK soil." And Ron Senchak, President of Greater Manchester Stop the War Coalition says: "We will not let Trump and the 1% divide and rule us or destroy our world. We are the 99%. This is our world not theirs." We're sure all Salfordians will have their own reasons for wanting to show the world what they think of Donald Trump... Stop Trump! Protest Friday 20th January 20 St Peters Square, Manchester 6pm-7pm For further details see the Stop Trump! Protest Facebook page – click here

| What's it like being a mug, I'll have to ask a expert, so what's it like being a mug mr Rayofbullshit. question Rayofbullshit how's allowing hundreds of thousands of cheap economic migrants in to the country going to increase the wages of the lowest paid and skilled, answer its not, what we need to do is have a minimum wage for immigrants who want to enter this country, say £25,000 a year, anything under this and you carn't come in, this would protect British workers from unscrupulous businesses importing cheap labour to suppress wages for the lowest paid and skilled, but we carn't do this as Europe won't allow us to protect British jobs, especially the lowest paid and this is why we need to get out of Europe. Staying in Europe cost jobs and suppresses the wage of the lowest paid. Please Rayofbullshit, if you need to be educated on any other matter, please don't hesitate to give me a call. Ps, ask the nurse to wipe under your chin, your dribbling, just like all leftwing socialists. |

| Ps Rayofbullshit. Britain is a part of the continent of Europe just as African countries are a part of the African continent, but each African country is independent with its own sovereignty and that is what I want for Britain, independence and sovereign. Being a part of a continent, dosn't make that continent one country as the globalists have been trying to do since the Second World War. Hope you've learnt something Rayofbullshit |

| Rayofbullshit, were a sovereign indipendents nation, we entered the European federalist state through lies and deceit, by polititions who sold this country down the river for their thirty pieces of silver, an act of treason in my book. What we entered was a trading block in the early 70s not a political union, as is now. We've lost our sovereignty. Remember 82, Falklands, our nice European neighbours France selling Exocet missiles to the argi's. If this is European co operation then you can stuff it. Were just a cash cow for the rest of the failed European state. And if you like it so much, why don't you go live over there. They'd love you, and we would't miss you. Time for brexit, time for the Donald. The futures looking bright, I've got to were shades, as the song go's. All you remoaners, get over it and get a life and get out of mine. |

| Mr. brexit, to be brutal, you are "an idiot savant of Post Globalisation Righf Wing Revanchism !" - bet you've never been called that before!
Brexit, rather than renewing Britain, will if not reversed, lead to rapid economic and social decline!
People of good will must unite to reverse Brexit and thereby reunite Britain with its European Mother |

| Ps Rayofbullshit, mass immigration, 98 % of them economic migrants, low skilled, that have forced down the wages of the indigenous people, mainly the lowest skilled who have bore the brunt of this. So getting out of Europe, controlling our borders will help to raise the wages of the poorest. This is what the big buissness want cheep labour, the federalist European Union is a busted flush, so to all you socialist if you don't like it, like I said, go stick your heads in the oven, gas mark six. One more day, till the trump, brilliant, the mans going to be a world changer. |

| When are you Brexit Dim Wits going to wake up to the fact that you are being played for brain dead suckers?
Brexit essentially is "a çollective noun" denoting
a) settling an internal argument within the Tory Party and b) a pretext to lower the Living Standards of working people!
For a General Strike to stop Brexit!! |

| Alice - this has been going on for years, Blair, Bush, Reagan, Brown, Kennedy, Carter, Thatcher, Cameron et al and, dare I say, Her Majesty, have been reaping the rewards of the working classes, and middle classes to a certain extent. Trump is nothing new only, if anything, he doesn't give a shit about coming across as a narcissistic monster. Beyond a true revolution what can we actually do? |

| Trump is the president of the United States of America, so to all you remoaners, get over it and if you don't like it, go stick your heads in the oven. Seems people only like democracy when it's on their terms. Trump beat the main stream media, silicon vally, the large corporations who funded hillery, the democrat party and the corrupt Clinton clan and beat them all, ain't life great. Down with the fascist European Union and the globalists. And let's get on with freeing Britain and pull the trigger with brexit. |

| I really don't think we should organise a special (state) visit when he is actually the President, and lay on all the ceremonial palarva, for a man who has broken all the social rules of a civilised educated society and puts our world in jepody. It would be so hypocricical and really demonstrate that money can wipe out morality. Wonder what the Queen is being advised re protocol. I hope she fakes another 'chill.' |
