MadLab, which is a not-for-profit organisation, is running new courses at The Landing, MediaCityUK, during February and March, most of which are for digital beginners...
"We can help you get you started on your digital journey, from setting up social media accounts, to web development and programming" states MadLab "We also have three WordPress based courses to take you from website novice all the way through to blogger extraordinaire..."
The five and a half hour daily courses begin on 20th February with all that's needed to know about Facebook, Twitter etc, and end on 8th March with a Blogging 101 workshop, showing how to create engaging content on a website.
The courses are a follow-up to previous digital skills workshops run by MadLab in Salford for which the feedback was impressive...
"I enjoyed the session, it was informative and useful" said Debbie "It gave me the confidence and knowledge to set up my own website", while Charlotte added "Great class...Lots of easy to understand information to help me make sense of WordPress. I look forward to using my newfound knowledge on my own website..."
The courses are for Salford residents only, cost £10 each, or £5 if unemployed or underemployed (plus booking fee) and there's full details on the MadLab website – click here; or to book click here
