It's one of Salford's top annual spectacles – the sight of loads of bikes, trikes and vintage cars done up with tinsel, while their riders morph into Santas and elves. It's an amazing convoy of vehicles, which sets off from the Henry Boddington pub on Bolton Road around noon, and goes all over Salford before heading to the Manchester Children's Hospital.
This year, Fireman Sam and his fire engine are joining too, and at the front of the parade is a giant sleigh carrying toys and gifts for the poorly children, which visitors are asked to help fill on the day.
It's all organised by the Vesperados Scooter Club and everyone is invited to see the bikes, trikes and cars before they set off and to line the route and cheer these amazing riders to their destination.
