Hooky is heading back to his ancestral home of Ordsall to chat about, well, everything at Salford Lads' Club on Saturday 15th October. It's an extra date for Substance: An Evening with Peter Hook, which sold out immediately for the night at The Albert Square Chop House.
Hooky will be in-conversation with Dianne Bourne, from the Manchester Evening News, who suggested that he write a book about his life and times. Now, with two brilliant best sellers behind him documenting the Hacienda and Joy Division, and the third expose, Substance: Inside New Order, about to be unleashed, the night should be gripping, to say the least.
"This in-conversation event will be a rare opportunity to hear Pete talk openly to an audience in an intimate setting" state the organisers "He is a keen supporter of Salford Lads' Club, having grown up in the area, and continues to lend his support to the club's development."
After the interview, there will be a chance for the audience to ask Hooky questions themselves, and signed copies of Substance will be available to buy on the night.
