| I support this great event in my home ward and invite everyone to come and enjoy Salford. With 20% of England living in poverty we must welcome ideas that give people ways to enjoy life. But we need more and I want Salford Council to open Ordsall Hall long term as a quality food bank and community food centre to serve low cost healthy meals to local families, carers and those unemployed that are finding high rents leave nothing for food. It is a national scandal that our government fails to cure poverty. |
