At St Bonifaces Social Club next Saturday, 2nd April, there's a special benefit for Shelter For Forces, which helps homeless ex-servicemen in Salford and Manchester.
Organised by The Sounds of Salford Radio, the night stars up and coming indie band, Cinnamon Dinner, who do songs about life in their home city. DJ Ian Archer will also be spinning the sounds until late in the night.
With all the money raised going towards getting ex forces personnel off the streets, there's going to be some top items up for auction, including a signed Ronaldo shirt and a signed photo of Euro-winning stoppage time goal hero Ole Gunnar Solskjær, that's also a clock. There will also be some Salford Star t-shirts and mugs in the raffle, amongst loads of other stuff.
