A brilliant, magical sight happens on the last Sunday in November every year, as hundreds and hundreds of riders dressed as Santa take part in a Christmas cavalcade taking presents to young people at The Christie.
Organised by the Vesperados Scooter Club, every kind of powered two wheeler takes part, from trikes to motorbikes to scooters, all decked out for Christmas. Last year there were also classic cars joining the ride, which was led by a giant sleigh full of presents.
The Vesperados Christie's Santa Run starts from noon at the Henry Boddington pub and anyone going to watch is asked to put a wrapped present or selection box in the sleigh.
