Shameless and The Mill star, Ciaran Griffiths, is taking part in the Greater Manchester Cycle event tomorrow, 29th June, to raise funds for Children In Need.
Ciaran is leading team Peugeot on a 26 mile circuit between Man City's Etihad Stadium and Man United's Old Trafford, via Manchester city centre.
"The Peugeot team and I are gearing up for the ride and we're raring to go" says Ciaran "The Great Manchester Cycle starts less than a week before the Grand Depart of the Tour de France in Yorkshire – so we hope the country is going to go cycling crazy."
Greater Manchester Cycle will see thousands of cyclists take part in circuits ranging between 13, 26 and 52 miles, with all roads on the course shut for the duration of the event.
Children In Need is Peugeot's nominated charity, and since 2012 it has raised over £700,000, hoping to break the £1million barrier in 2014.
