Salford Motorcycle Action Group has been freshly launched as a branch of the national Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) which is a volunteer led riders' rights organisation dating back to 1973.
The Salford group is looking for new members and meets from 8pm on the last Thursday of every month at Henleys Bar in Eccles.
"Salford Area MAG is in its infancy, newly forming and is looking for active members who love and respect a choice in how we live our lives" says Steve `Blayz' Blay who runs the Salford group.
Nationally, MAG is a non-political group set up "to protect and promote motorcycling and the interests and rights of all riders, from learner to advanced. We celebrate biking and the freedoms and independence it provides".
In Salford the group provides information on local rallies, parties and events through its Facebook site – Salford Area Motorcycle Action Group – and in person through its monthly meetings.
