The Salford Music Festival has featured everyone from Ren Harvieu to The Fall, with hundreds of unknown, unsigned but usually ace bands, singers, rappers and mixers performing for thousands of people. Because the beauty of the Salford Music Festival is that anyone can play – and virtually any venue can stage a gig.
Now in its fifth year, the Fest is happening again in September and anyone wishing to take part has one final opportunity to take part. All you have to do to register is email yipyop@live.co.uk with your name and contact details before the end of this week.
"Salford Music Festival is a celebration of Salford, it's people and the many great pubs/cafes and places to play live" says co-founder Ed Blaney "If you are part of a community group or just an individual who would like to get involved and put on an event, or perform, then we look forward to hearing from you.
