Salford Precinct gets eerie this week with two free Halloween happenings for kids at half term.
On Monday, between noon and 4pm, there's a free pumpkin carving workshop where children get the chance to design and carve their very own frightening pumpkin. Those taking part can also mix their ingredients in the cauldron and make a special pumpkin soup to take away.
On Wednesday, between noon and 4pm, something completely creepy is happening, as a pumpkin comes alive and goes walkabout around the shops and stalls, apparently causing havoc to anything that crosses its path.
Not so much a happy Halloween as a terrorific time…
