The Deli-Lama sits snugly on the corner of Bexley Square and Chapel Street, not only offering eat in or take out deli delights like butternut squash soup with rosemary roasted crisps, but also some top art exhibitions on the walls and the occasional live event.
The intimate venue is perfect to host four nights worth of live music for the Salford Music Festival, beginning tonight with an acoustic evening starring Adazae JonDemetrius, Laura and Claire, Harry Wilkinson and Lei Jennings.
Lei Jennings is currently studying at Salford University and on the side is building a bit of a name for himself as a singer songwriter with some nifty spoken words thrown in to enhance what he calls "My mistakes and melodies". His songs are mainly about love and loss and a bit more love. With the feeling turned up to the max. Check Lei out on Soundcloud (click here) and then go see him live on stage around 9pm.
Before then, the night opens up with Adazae JonDemetrius (listen here), Liverpool duo Laura and Claire (listen here), and Harry Wilkinson, of the band Small Green Invasion (listen here)
