IS YOUR BABY A SALFORD STAR?

Salford Star is pleased to announce a new launch of our popular Salford Star baby grows which now come in vest style or t-sleeved. They are available in all different baby sizes and the logo comes in a range of fab colours.

We'll have them on our stall at the Costa Del Cornerstone tomorrow, along with some grown up t-shirts, or you can purchase them online.

The Salford Star baby grows are back for the summer, and are now available in vest style or t-sleeved, in all baby sizes with a range of coloured logos – silver, lilac, orange and gold!!!

They cost £5 with all profits going towards getting the Salford Star back into print. Along with some Salford Star t-shirts (£6/£3), we'll have the new range of baby grows on our stall at the Langworthy Cornerstone tomorrow (Sat 11am-3pm) where we'll be taking part in the fab family fun Costa Del Cornerstone experience (click here for more details or see the advert at the top right hand corner of our webpage).

You can also purchase the baby grows online, via our shop (click here £5+ £1.50 p&p - ignore the prices stated on the shop) – but please email us first to check we have the style, size and colour you desire.

The derelict Victoria Theatre in Lower Broughton is now third on the Theatre Trust's 'At Risk' Register, and there's a community meeting on Wednesday to try and revive its fortunes. Up for discussion are possible community uses as a theatre school, youth club, cafe, bingo centre and more.

£600 WORTH OF PROVISIONS COLLECTED IN ECCLES FOR SALFORD FOOD BANKS

ECCLES GIVING DAY BRINGS SUPPLIES FOR LOCAL FOOD BANKS

Around £600 worth of food was collected in Eccles town centre today for the local homeless help centres, Mustard Tree and Lancaster House. This was the ninth Eccles Giving Day and local Councillor Peter Wheeler praised the generosity of shoppers who stuffed the collection trolleys.
