While the biggest thrill at the giant new Tesco is admiring the ace artistic display on the fish counter, over the road at Salford Precinct three days of free kids activities are taking place during school half term.
On Wednesday 13th February, between noon and 4pm, there's going to be a craft workshop at which kids can make their own masks and puppets in the shape of monsters, mermaids and muppets.
On Thursday 14th February, between noon and 4pm, there's a Valentine theme, complete with giveaway Love Hearts and chocolates, and a face painter specialising in hearts and animals.
On Friday 15th February, between noon and 4pm, Ranger Rob will be taking visitors on a fun filled journey showcasing his selection of creepy reptiles, cuddly rabbits and loveable guinea pigs.
