HACIENDA: THE CHRISTMAS PARTY
We know that we shouldn't be mentioning Christmas before bonfire night, but tickets for the festive Hacienda party have gone on sale and are likely to be snapped up pronto.
For Hacienda 30: The Christmas Party a huge line up has been put together to totally fill the 10pm-5am timeline. Upstairs, spinning the tunes are Hooky, Marshall Jefferson (Chicago House pioneer), Russ (Manchester Underground records and Shine nights), DJ Nipper (Eastern Bloc) and the legend that is MC Tunes.
Herbie Saccani and Bobby Langley are doing the bar beats, and Graeme Park gets a massive seven hour set to fill the downstairs dancefloor
"The annual Haçienda Christmas Party at Sankeys is definitely one of the highlights of the year and this time I'm playing all night long" he says "I'm extremely excited because with a whole seven hours to fill I'll be able to span the whole period of my Haçienda residency and play a real variety of genres too. As well as all the usual big, timeless classics, expect a few forgotten gems and some surprises too.
"There's a wealth of great music out there and I plan to dig deep and entertain while taking everyone on a journey that covers a lot more than 30 years of The Haçienda" he adds "I can think of no better way to end a magnificent year of Haçienda 30 celebrations."
