The No Turn Unstoned team have gone from strength to strength this year, building up a brand of Salfordian humour, music, tall tales and poetry that's gathering a growing audience. And anyone can get up on the totally open mic and join in, or bring an instrument and jam along to the tunes.
Next Friday sees the first Christmas event since Future Artists took over the running of the Black Lion pub, and Unstoned have come up with an I'm Brian and So's My Wife night, which should only add to the fun.
"It's the usual unusual mix of poetry, tall tales and music" says Unstoned's musical maestro, Barnyard "Come down, bring your instrument or poem or tall tale and join in. It's rumoured that there will be a troupe of ballet dancing dockers and free food, so get there early and grab a seat."
