The No Turn Unstoned nights have been touring Salford pubs for a couple of years now, bringing live music, comedy and x-rated tall stories and poetry to the stage, complete with an open mic so that anyone can join in with a jam or a joke.
"The usual musical crew, Barnyard and Chirper will be there, plus tall tales, poetry and comedy from Skeffy" says Bernard Brough of the No Turn Unstoned team.
"There should also be some George Formby style ukulele playing, fire eating strippers…well no fire eating strippers, but the rest will be there" he adds "Anybody can get up and do their thing, play a song or two, tell a tall tale, some poetry, tell a few jokes, take their clothes off while doing the fire eating thing. At past nights we have had award winning song writers, some excellent musicians and arse kicking poetry. So get down there - you never know what might happen. Fire eating strippers even!"
