SALFORD TRUTH PARTY WANTS VOTES

Star date: 27th September 2011

SALFORD TRUTH PARTY TAKES SHAPE

"Politicians have been dealing in lies, lies and more lies…"

Salford's Josh Pendlebury is only 18 but is already fed up with politicians "who deal in lies" and "leave their morals at home".

Josh is aiming to form a new Truth Party for Salford and needs your votes.

"Why me? You may well ask…" says Salford's Josh Pendlebury in a new video uploaded on You Tube "Politicians have been dealing in lies, lies and more lies…leaving their own morals at home when voting on key issues…"

Josh's answer is The Truth Party, to "stop the corruption of politicians and reduce a Leader's affect on them…"

Salford's new Truth Party hasn't quite been set up yet – it's a long term plan by Josh for after he has done a course in Law at Manchester University. But to help him through that course and help him with his aim of setting up the new Party, he needs Salford people's help.

Josh has entered an HSBC Bursary competition to win £15,000 towards his studies and has had to come up with a video of how `£15,000 would help me make my mark on the world'…

It's a simple voting system via facebook and the one with the most votes gets it. So have a look at the video, and if you like Josh's views go onto this facebook link (click here) and vote for him. There's only three days left so do it now!

You never know, in a few years time Salford's new Truth Party might well be ripping up Salford Council…

This enterprising , honorable chap should cultivate a friendship with the only decent MP remaining , Dennis Skinner . The rest of the MPshites in both houses of Wasteminster should be against a wall and shot for treason against the People .

OVER 80% OF COUNCIL WORKERS HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN SERVICES AND ALMOST 50% THINKING OF LEAVING THEIR JOBS

A survey of almost 1,500 local council workers in the North West reveals that 81% have no confidence in the future of local services, 49% are thinking of leaving their jobs, 54% believe their council no longer delivers quality services, and 45% think that their employer doesn't make the right decisions for the public.

The other results of the survey by UNISON to coincide with its local government conference make equally depressing reading, as the union states that "Vital local services in the North West are collapsing".

There's free massages, trips out, advice on allowances, tea and coffee and cakes, but, most importantly, relaxed informal chats with carers who are all in the same position.
