Islington Mill residents and promoters, Fat Out and Partisan Collective, are bringing five socially distanced shows to the Unit 2 Regent Trading Estate for spring bank holiday, beginning 27th May.
On Thursday 27th May, from 6pm, Partisan presents rapper and multi-instrumentalist Algernon Cornelius, together with MSC Records (House Band), HUSK, Ellen Beth Abdi and Bunny Hoova. For details and tickets - click here
On Friday 28th May, from 6pm, Fat Out presents Lone Taxidermist's show, Marra!, which explores the 'dialect and ceremonies of West Cumbria'. Also appearing are violinist and loop pedal artist Rebekah Reid and Burn into Sleep. For details and tickets - click here
On Saturday 29th May, from 6pm, Partisan presents Queer Family Tea and Fatty Acid for an evening of weird cabaret, plus DJs All Hands on Deck. For details and tickets - click here
On Sunday 30th May, from 6pm, Fat Out presents 'Manchester-misfits-collective' Yossarians Yossarians, plus Sonny Bliss and At Home with Lilac. For details and tickets - click here
And on Friday 4th June, from 6pm, Fat Out presents Pretty Grim, premiering the result of their recent residency at Islington Mill, 'ambient grime vocalist' Iceboy Violet and DJ Hesska. For details and tickets - click here
All shows will take place at Unit 2, Regents Trading Estate, just behind Islington Mill and accessed via Oldfield Road. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible with accessible welfare facilities, and all events will be socially distanced and seated, with COVID-safe measures in place.
Tickets are on now on sale, priced at £6-£10 per ticket and sold in tables of 2, 3, 4 and 6, and tables must be bought for two households/bubbles only.
