May Day this year will see three events spread over three days, beginning on Saturday 1st May itself with an online rally at 1pm with loads of speakers including Salford's Hilda Palmer representing Families Against Corporate Killers.
Other speakers include John Morgan from Manchester TUC, Roger McKenzie, UNISON Assistant General Secretary; Kevin Courtney, Joint General Secretary, National Education Union; Alison Treacher, Care and Support Workers ORGANISE and Begoña del Castillo, Spanish Workers' Commissions Trade Union, CCOO. There will also be music by Tom Long, Chia Kali and Joe Solo.

Later in the day on 1st May at 4pm there will be a physical Kill The Bill demonstration against the Police Bill in St Peter's Square in Manchester, organised by a host of local groups and activists including Extinction Rebellion, Salford City UNISON and Stand Up To Racism.

And on Monday 3rd May, there's a march from Piccadilly Gardens to the Queen's Road bus depot for a rally in support of the striking Go North West bus workers who are fighting against the toxic 'fire and re-hire' contracts.
